What kind of activities can we take part in?

Our volunteering activities vary depending on the size of the group, the weather conditions and the time of year. Volunteers may help with a range of land management tasks, including garden makeovers, or gardening activities like mulching, bulb and tree planting and maintaining flowerbeds, clean up days, clearing footpaths, or woodland work such as tree planting, coppicing and hedgerow planting.

Other activities could include making over a community space or community centre.

What should we bring on the day?

Our volunteering activities take place away from our on-site facilities, so we suggest you and your team bringing your own lunch. We also recommend that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for the task in hand. Be prepared to get muddy and work in all weather conditions. We recommend wearing sturdy footwear like walking boots or wellies, along with waterproof jackets and trousers if you have them.

If tools and PPE are required for the day, we will provide these for you.
