Are you aged 16 to 24 and interested in learning about careers in housing?

Introduction to Housing is a 16-week paid programme that gives young people the chance to gain valuable work experience, build new skills and explore career opportunities in the housing sector.

The programme is delivered by Academi Adra and supported by housing associations across North Wales, including Cartrefi Conwy.

Placement locations

Successful applicants will be placed with one of the following housing associations:

  • Adra – Bangor or Penygroes, Gwynedd
  • Cartrefi Conwy – Abergele, Conwy
  • ClwydAlyn – St Asaph, Denbighshire
  • Grŵp Cynefin – Denbigh, Denbighshire
  • North Wales Housing – Llandudno Junction, Conwy
  • Wales & West Housing – Ewloe, Flintshire

Placement details

  • Programme length: 16 weeks
  • Working hours: 24 hours per week (3 days a week)
  • Pay: National Minimum Wage
