”Our Posi-Joist factory in Rhyl supports our new venture of manufacturing bespoke timber materials which is fundamental to building our affordable homes programme over the coming years.

By taking a redundant building and giving it a new lease of life, we will play a key role in the regeneration of the local area. This new business also assists  in meeting the Welsh Government’s ambitions to build net zero carbon homes that are efficient for our tenants to live in.

This was made possible thanks to funding from the Welsh Government and the National Lottery. This funding will diversify our current workstreams and increase our ability to source local, build local and offer many employment opportunities to those furthest from the job market in line with our core principles through our Creating Futures Academy.

It is our mission to be the principle manufacturer of timber frame products in the area.

We started manufacturing and installing timber framed, passive homes in 2018 and we were so impressed with the posi-joist solution with its incredible strength, flexibility and the sheer simplicity of its design that we decided we would start making our own.

So we have teamed up with MiTek (a global company who specialise in the development of software solutions for structural timber engineering and the provision of steel connector products) and are delighted to be chosen as one of their approved manufacturers.
