National Volunteers Week 2019
It’s National Volunteers Week, a week dedicated to celebrating volunteers all across the country.
We’re looking forward to sharing with you some great stories from our volunteers so you can hear first hand about their experiences.
We’re also hosting a special celebration event on Friday 7th June to celebrate the amazing achievements of our volunteers. If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, come along and chat to our volunteers and find out more. Whatever your reason for volunteering, we can help!
Last year over 3300 hours were completed by 45 volunteers across a variety of areas including office admin, painting and decorating and plumbing.
Many of the volunteers have now gone on to paid employment thanks to the experience and new skills they have gained.
Creating Enterprise has a dedicated team to help local people with volunteer, training and employment opportunities.
