Purpose/ Summary of Role

To support the Community Involvement team with various administration tasks including data input and assisting with organising community activities.

Work with a mentor to identify and develop administration skills.

Skills You Can Gain From This Role

Organisational skills – helping at events / training sessions
Communication skills – answering the telephone, message taking, oral and written communication
Customer Service Skills – find out what good customer service is
Teamwork – working with the team to support with various administration tasks including minute taking
IT Skills – Excel (data input), Word (posters/letters), Email (communication)
Decision making skills – work on your ability to prioritise workload
Research skills – researching local jobs

Reception & Activities Support

Purpose/Summary of Role

To provide cover to the reception area and administrative support to the Independent Living Coordinators and to support activities in the communal lounge.

Skills required:

* Excellent communication
* Basic IT skills

Description of Tasks

* Reception cover
* Greeting tenants
* Signing guests in and out of the building
* Taking messages
* Supporting events in the communal lounge: Bingo, Coffee Mornings
* Supporting with alarm safety checks throughout the building

Purpose/Summary of Role

We have the following trade roles available:

Joiners
Plasterers
Electricians
Plumbers/Gas Engineers

Description of Tasks

– Tasks will depend on the role and will be discussed at interview.
– These are only available for people who are committed to working in these areas, within our very busy Building Maintenance Team.
