Purpose/Summary of Role

To assist Cartrefi Conwy with projects and initiatives related to workplace health, and to assist with health and safety duties.

Essential: Good communications skills IT skills (or willingness to develop) Organisational skills An interest in health and wellbeing Desirable: Experience of working in the health sector An understanding of healthy living principles

Description of Tasks

– General administration tasks

– Supporting the health and safety compliance officer by creating inspection templates

– Site inspections with health and safety officer

– Support the HR team to research projects looking at work place health

Office Assistant, Creating Enterprise

Purpose/Summary of Role

Assisting with any administration duties seen as appropriate, contributing to the efficient running of Creating Enterprise

Description of Tasks

– Supporting with general administration duties such as photocopying, scanning documents using copier / email facility, laminating, shredding
– Assisting with setting up of meeting rooms for events, meeting and greeting visitors to the building
– Support with building: empty dishwasher, set up coffee machine, set up refreshments
– Other duties may be required

To work on reception at Cartrefi Conwy’s head office and Llandudno area office.

Various admin tasks

– Greet customers
– Direct enquires as appropriate
– General administration tasks

Employment Academy Assistant

Purpose/Summary of Role

To support the running of our weekly jobs café and support individuals to apply for jobs in a friendly, inviting environment. Ensure our jobs wall is kept up to date with local jobs that are within the abilities and interests of the people being supported.

Essential skills:
Able to use computers / laptops / tablets / smartphones, search the internet and use email confidently
Good communication skills
Friendly and welcoming nature
Patient and personable
Good sense of humour
Able to explain technology in a simple, clear way

Description of Tasks

– Provide one to one support to people who are struggling to look for work online: support with job search, accessing application forms
– Book appointments with Employment Academy Employment Support Officer if people require intense CV / application form / interview support
– Research and print local opportunities and keep the jobs wall up to date
