As well as volunteering, Cartrefi Conwy tenants can apply for paid employment at Creating Enterprise, gaining experience in the following areas:

  • Administration
  • General Labouring
  • Groundworks
  • Environmental Maintenance
  • Property Clearance & Cleaning
  • Property Maintenance & Painting

When you join our Employment Academy you get more than ‘just a job’. We provide:

  • Paid employment for up to 12 months
  • Personal development plan
  • On the job training & support
  • Formal training
  • Employability skills training
  • Work placements with other organisations
  • Mentoring to help with any barriers to employment you may be facing
  • Support to find a job at the end of your contract

We only work with a small number of tenants at a time, ensuring that you get the best possible support to succeed. As well as this, you will have access to vacancies that aren’t advertised elsewhere, which will further improve your chances of finding the right job for you at the end of your fixed term contract.
