Working Families Project

‘Making Work: Work For All’ is a project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund to support working families living in social or private rented accommodation in Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea, Mochdre and Old Colwyn. The first year of the project was spent working closely with local families to identify what barriers they face and what sometimes gets in the way of them making ends meet.

Between them, the families decided that what would benefit them the most were out of school activities and a loyal card scheme in partnership with local businesses. Project Coordinator, Jasmine, posts regular updates on how these two ideas are developing and progressing on the Making Work: Work For All YouTube channel, which can be found here.

The continued involvement of local families is key to the project’s success. We cover all out of pocket expenses, plus offer relevant training opportunities to parent volunteers. Want to get involved? We’d love to hear from you! Send an email to
