Construction has started for our first Modular homes on Anglesey
Creating Enterprise Modular Solutions are working for Anglesey County Council through MWT (civil contractors) to build 4 x sheltered bungalows. We are constructing timber frame passive house units to a Beattie Passive design. The timber panels are already up on our first Modular build site! They arrived onsite from our nearby Modular factory. The walls were erected in just 3 hours!
Next the cladding is going up on the walls ready for the eco build insulation to be pumped into the sealed cavity.
We are also working alongside Menter Mon to give those furthest from the job market work opportunities giving them training, qualifications and experience on a construction site. We are utilising our own in house specially trained team to build the units.
We have also been working with the local school on Health & Safety issues on a construction site and showing them the benefits of a passivhaus eco-friendly home. Some of the children have designed some brilliant posters which we will be displaying on the outside of the site.
