We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity within the Creating Enterprise Timber Factory (Rhyl) for a Timber Solutions Operator.
This position is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced production/manufacturing operator working in the timber factory. The successful candidate will be carrying out a full range of joinery duties and other tasks, including but not limited to the manufacture of timber joists, fencing panels and assemblies for the modular build timber homes.
The role will involve measuring, cutting and the assembly to manufacture and deliver a wide range of timber products which includes, metal web joists, modular panel frames and fence panels, and modular assemblies, but as the facility continues to expand and grow it will include other timber products.
Knowledge and Skills
- Woodworking/Benchwork qualification (Desirable)
- Valid CSCS Card (Desirable)
- 2 Years demonstrated manufacturing/production/assembly experience (Desirable)
- UK Full Driving Licence (Essential)
The purpose is to support and deliver a service with a commercial value for money approach and customer focus by doing things right first time and within the agreed budget and timescale.
- Salary: Up to £28,492 per annum
- Hours: 40 Hours
- Contract: Fixed term for 2 years – with possibility of extension
