Creating Enterprise, a subsidiary of Cartrefi Conwy, started trading in 2015 and has quickly grown into the Social Contractor of Choice for North Wales
We provide a range of contracting and development services to clients across the public and private sector.
We also deliver essential property services, on behalf of Cartrefi Conwy to 3800 tenants across Conwy. These include property maintenance, gas servicing, clearances of empty homes, sparkle cleans and environmental improvements.
We have recently diversified our activities into modular construction. We have opened our first modular build factory in Holyhead, where we are constructing timber frame passive house units to a Beattie Passive design.

What makes Creating Enterprise special is our focus on people. All of our commercial profits are invested into our social purpose which is to help tenants and local people into employment initiatives.
As a social enterprise we’re serious about improving lives, creating better futures for Cartrefi Conwy tenants and the local community via our unique employment academy. Creating Futures supports local people into paid employment opportunities as well as offering meaningful work experience and a chance to gain qualifications, boost confidence, enhance skills and widen social circles to reduce isolation.

Creating Enterprise has had huge success winning multiple awards both regionally and nationally for its commitment to social value. We have recently been named the Fastest Growing Company in North Wales, third fastest growing company in Wales and the Fastest Growing Construction company in Wales 2019.
